Busy Bee

So I apologize for not having posted something in quite some time. Let's start by filling you in on the outcome of our second regional Hooters Swimsuit Competition. It was in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the Rib Room on April 26th. This time, along with Libbi and myself, came Kezia and Jen. We all had fun... Jen got into the top ten and I won! Again!! I was soooo surprised and I still can't believe it sometimes. Second place was Promise from Little Rock, AR and third place belonged to Heather from Ft. Smith, AR.

After the contest me and the girls smashed some amazing pizza... We dominated that cheese and meaty goodness. I still haven't been able to scrape it off my saddle bags but it was so worth it.

We still have one more contest to go on May 15th back at the Wormy Dog in OKC. So stay tuned and I'll let you know the results!

I also shot for the Hooters Calendar on Friday, May 5th in Ft. Smith. At the photoshoot was Heather (Ft. Smith), Promise (Little Rock), Taylor (Fayetteville), Hooters Girl of the Year, Miss Kaylee Farris (Ft. Smith)... Oh and two little baby bunnies!!

We went to this house that had an absolutely amazing swimming pool area. I'm telling you... The outside of this place was like the playboy mansion of the mid-west. Heather made the comment that she felt like she was "Alice in Wonderland". There was even bamboo there... Bamboo in Arkansas?! Sure! Why not? I wore my new favorite bikini and got to shoot with some watermelons... Actual watermelons for you perverts out there. ;) Dillon, the photographer, told me that one of my poses was "big picture potential". I wish he wouldn't have said that because I could feel my body tense up right after. I also can't help but wonder how many times he says that to girls lol?! I know a big picture in the Calendar is a far shot, but who could blame a girl for dreaming?! Fingers crossed!

Well, that's all for now folks! Thanks for all your unconditional love an support. Keep the comments coming and let me know if there are any questions about the Hooters world that you would love to be answered! No boundaries...

My First Post!!!

Hey everyone!  Thanks for being interested enough in my life to join me on my blog!  I will do my best to keep you all updated on what's going on in the world of Hooters Girls.  First, I'm going to start by catching you all up on what has gone on in my life recently.  If you are my friend on Facebook, chances are you already know...

Every January brings on new hope and opportunities for the Hooters Girls.  We start our diets and begin to work out (or work out harder... depending on who you're talking to), for when February comes along we are all submitting swimsuit pictures in the hopes of getting a call back to shoot for the next years International Hooters Calender.  They usually let us in the MidWest know around this time if we got a call back.  They've already started photo shoots with Hooters Girls in Florida.  So keep your fingers crossed for me :).

April and May are months in our region that are dedicated to the regional swimsuit competitions.  (Our region consists of Oklahoma/Arkansas stores... and then they just threw in Springfield, MO for shits and giggles)  These are the preliminary competitions to see who will be our regions' representatives at the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit pageant that is nationally televised and the winner gets quite a pocket full of ca$h.  Our regions first competition took place at the Wormy Dog in Bricktown at Oklahoma City on April 3rd.  From Springfield only two of us went, myself and Libbi.  We swept the competition... Libbi got second place taking home $300...it was her first time competing... and I took home the win and $500!!

Left to Right:
2nd Runner up Sarah Rogers (Ft. Smith), Winner Rachel Mundwiller (Springfield), 1st Runner up Libbi Monroe (Springfield)

We have two more:  April 26th at Rib Room in Ft. Smith, AR and May 13th at the Wormy Dog in Oklahoma City.  The top 3 of all of these competitions will be reviewed and they will choose a few to go to Internationals!

And for the latest news.... I'm so excited for this...  I got a call from my regional manager yesterday asking if I would be available for another international opening... I'M GOING TO JAPAN!  I just got off the phone with Arron from Corporate office and he says I'll be going to Tokyo!  Its even more exciting because I'm going as the Lead Trainer.  I was the Lead Trainer on my last opening too, but now they are getting me prepared to be an OTC (Opening Training Coordinator)... which means more money and me climbing that ladder baby!  So very excited if you can't tell... my thoughts are kind of everywhere right now.

Well that's all for now!  But be ready for more...

Have a Hooterific Day!  XoXo
