Hey everyone! Thanks for being interested enough in my life to join me on my blog! I will do my best to keep you all updated on what's going on in the world of Hooters Girls. First, I'm going to start by catching you all up on what has gone on in my life recently. If you are my friend on Facebook, chances are you already know...
Every January brings on new hope and opportunities for the Hooters Girls. We start our diets and begin to work out (or work out harder... depending on who you're talking to), for when February comes along we are all submitting swimsuit pictures in the hopes of getting a call back to shoot for the next years International Hooters Calender. They usually let us in the MidWest know around this time if we got a call back. They've already started photo shoots with Hooters Girls in Florida. So keep your fingers crossed for me :).
April and May are months in our region that are dedicated to the regional swimsuit competitions. (Our region consists of Oklahoma/Arkansas stores... and then they just threw in Springfield, MO for shits and giggles) These are the preliminary competitions to see who will be our regions' representatives at the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit pageant that is nationally televised and the winner gets quite a pocket full of ca$h. Our regions first competition took place at the Wormy Dog in Bricktown at Oklahoma City on April 3rd. From Springfield only two of us went, myself and Libbi. We swept the competition... Libbi got second place taking home $300...it was her first time competing... and I took home the win and $500!!
Left to Right:
2nd Runner up Sarah Rogers (Ft. Smith), Winner Rachel Mundwiller (Springfield), 1st Runner up Libbi Monroe (Springfield)
We have two more: April 26th at Rib Room in Ft. Smith, AR and May 13th at the Wormy Dog in Oklahoma City. The top 3 of all of these competitions will be reviewed and they will choose a few to go to Internationals!

And for the latest news.... I'm so excited for this... I got a call from my regional manager yesterday asking if I would be available for another international opening... I'M GOING TO JAPAN! I just got off the phone with Arron from Corporate office and he says I'll be going to Tokyo! Its even more exciting because I'm going as the Lead Trainer. I was the Lead Trainer on my last opening too, but now they are getting me prepared to be an OTC (Opening Training Coordinator)... which means more money and me climbing that ladder baby! So very excited if you can't tell... my thoughts are kind of everywhere right now.
Well that's all for now! But be ready for more...
Have a Hooterific Day! XoXo
